Cumbres & Toltec R.R. Chama NM

The real building has a footprint of 55' x 24' but I've shrunk it down to a more accessible size of only 29' x 17' keeping all but 2 of the doors and windows of the original. Below is a photo of real building followed by several photos of the model.

All of the fire shutters are functional!

This building is used to safely store flammable oils, lubes, fuel and anything else you don't want catching on fire. Brick building with concrete foundation AND concrete roof along with the metal fire shutters will keep any flames from getting in and causing some real trouble. Will also keep flames from getting out if need be. All railroads can use a building like this and it's classic brick architecture is at home anywhere in the country.
The end without the shutters was used as a superintendents office.
All resin kit with separate window, door and shutter castings. Even the wall stays keeping this building from spreading apart under the weight of the heavy concrete roof are separate castings. No "cast in place" details that make painting difficult. Kit includes six oil drums.
Footprint measures 7 1/4" x 4 1/4".
